Viewing, Sharing, and Deleting Measures and Libraries

Viewing

  • Can I view a measure I do not own in the Measure Authoring Development Integrated Environment?
Yes. You can view all measures in the MADiE.

  • How can I prevent other MADiE users from viewing my measure version or draft?
At this time there is no way to prevent other users from viewing your measures in MADiE.

Sharing

  • What does it mean to share a measure in MADiE?
Sharing a measure means the measure owner has provided permission to another MADiE user to edit a measure. Only the measure owner can provide "Modify" access. To provide "Modify" access to another MADiE user, see the instructions under Sharing a Measure in the MADiE User Guide.

  • As a measure owner, can I revoke "Modify" privileges?
At this time “Modify” privileges cannot be revoked.

Deleting

  • Can I remove a version or draft of a measure from MADiE?
Only draft measures can be deleted from MADiE. Once a measure is deleted from MADiE, it cannot be recovered. This is a permanent action that cannot be reversed. To delete a draft measure, follow the instructions in the MADiE User Guide in the Measure Header section.
  • Can I remove an entire measure family (draft and all versions) from MADiE?
Only draft measures may be deleted. If the measure family has any versions, you will not be able to delete the entire family.
